What gives the leftist students and faculty the right to bully conservative students? Hasn't bullying been at the center of discussion for many years now? Isn't it the leftist that have called for bullying to stop in both words and actions? It is strange that the same people who call for the end to bullying are the same ones that are in fact the ones doing the bullying?

My friends, I am disgusted at the actions of universities and colleges that have safe areas, only allow leftist views to be heard, don't allow all speech including hate speech, and endorse the actions of their professors to lecture about their political views in the classroom. Teach your children the old wise saying "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." Teach them about the "isms" like commun"ism", social"ism" or marks"ism" and the horrors that each has perpetrated through history. It is imperative that they understand that any of those "isms" will end freedom and prosperity for everyone in the world if America every heads down any of those roads. Remember if we forget history will repeat itself.

The Culture of Netflix & Chill

Watching this reminded me of when I was in high school and my awkwardness in love and romance. As a young man, I was taught to treat women with respect and kindness, open doors for them, bring them flowers, pay for everything while on the date, etc. Looking at how the teenagers and young adults today are driven by instant gratification through social media and text, it is no wonder they struggle even more to communicate to the opposite sex.

While I was in High School, I worked at McDonalds's to earn money for college. I had very little time for romance, however, when I was interested in a person I made time to talk to them, call them on the phone, look out for them during brakes and the like. It wasn't stalking, it was getting to know them. We were friends and in every instance, I was unable to convert our friendship into a romantic relationship. It's not to say I didn't try, I did, however in the end, most of the women I felt romantically drawn to, even though a romantic relationship did not occur we are still friends. I say most because I did ruin a few friendships by being petty or childish, it is one of my regrets.

What happened in high school was a long time ago. Eventually, I met my wife and after more than 20 years of marriage, we are as close as ever. Our relationship started as friends that blossomed into dating and to me proposing marriage. I hope that parents are helping their children out and teaching them the wonderful and sometimes heartbreaking ways or romance. Being an example to help them through this new modern world of instant gratification and help them realize good things do come to those who wait and happiness is achievable.

History repeats itself. First, the Nazis (National Socialist Party), then the Italian Fascists, followed by the communist; Russia, China North Korea etc. etc. etc. each system ending in hundreds of millions of dead people murdered by their own government. We now see Venezuela going through the same thing. The government isn't killing them with guns, just starving them. Strange enough, it is reported that no one is dying from starvation because its government made listing starvation illegal. Makes you want to move there now. Strange I see no caravans of migrants trying to illegally cross the Venezuelan border. What is it about socialism that is so attractive to many Americans? Maybe all Americans who want to live in a Socialist country form a caravan and invade Venezuela? Do it I beg you!
